End-User License Agreement (EULA)

This End-User License Agreement ("Agreement") applies to the paid version of Zealot. Please read and accept all terms before downloading, installing, or using Zealot.

Application​

Zealot is a self-hosted application developed and licensed by the EWS team, designed for app distribution, management, and related services on Linux operating systems.

License Scope​

  • You are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable license to install and use Zealot only on devices you own or control.
  • This license also applies to updates, repairs, or supplements provided by the licensor, unless a separate license is provided for such updates.
  • Without authorization, you may not share, sell, rent, lend, transfer, or otherwise distribute Zealot to third parties.
  • You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, merge, translate, create derivative works, or attempt to obtain the source code of Zealot without permission.
  • Unless expressly permitted by this Agreement or applicable usage rules, you may not copy or alter Zealot or any part thereof. You may store backup copies only on devices you own or control, and must not remove any intellectual property notices.
  • Violations or attempts to infringe these obligations may result in legal liability and damages.
  • The licensor reserves the right to modify the license terms at any time.
  • You must comply with all applicable third-party terms and conditions when using Zealot.

License Period​

  • After purchasing a license key, you may access all premium features and updates for 12 months. Renewal is required to continue receiving updates and support.
  • Zealot may provide enhancements, bug fixes, and upgrades from time to time.

Technical Requirements​

  • You are responsible for ensuring your device meets the technical requirements for running Zealot.
  • The licensor reserves the right to adjust technical specifications at any time.

Maintenance and Support​

  • The licensor is responsible for providing maintenance and support for Zealot. For support, contact the official website or designated email.
  • Service platforms (such as app stores) are not obligated to provide maintenance or support for Zealot.

Data Usage​

  • You agree that the licensor may access and adjust your downloaded Zealot content and personal information, subject to the privacy policy.
  • The licensor may periodically collect technical data about your device, system, application software, and peripherals for product support, updates, and service improvement, but not in a personally identifiable manner.

Trial Version​

  • Zealot offers a 14-day trial version for evaluation only, not for commercial use. Purchase is required after the trial period.
  • Trial features may be limited and are subject to actual conditions.
  • After the trial period, the trial version may automatically deactivate and data may not be recoverable.
  • The trial version is provided "as is" without any express or implied warranty; use at your own risk.
  • To convert to the full version, purchase a license key or download the official version.

Limitation of Liability​

  • The licensor is only liable for intentional or gross negligence. For slight negligence, liability is limited to breaches of essential contractual obligations and to foreseeable, typical damages.
  • The licensor is not responsible for losses due to lack of data backup or unauthorized modification of Zealot by the user.

Warranty​

  • The licensor warrants that Zealot is free of malware at download and operates as described in the documentation.
  • No warranty is provided for Zealot that has been modified without authorization, used with incompatible hardware/software, or is unusable due to user actions.
  • Users should inspect Zealot after installation and report defects via official channels within 90 days.
  • If a defect is confirmed, the licensor may choose to repair or replace.
  • If Zealot does not meet the warranty, users may contact the purchase channel for a refund; service platforms are not responsible for other warranty obligations.

Product Claims​

  • The licensor is responsible for handling all user or third-party claims related to Zealot, including but not limited to product liability, compliance, consumer protection, and privacy.
  • You agree that any apps you upload and distribute must comply with the laws and regulations of your country or region. Zealot assumes no legal responsibility for any disputes or risks arising from your uploads, distribution, or use; all legal risks are borne by you.

Termination​

  • If subscription payments are not made on time, Zealot reserves the right to revoke your Pro Key, preventing your server from starting or accessing Pro features.

Third-Party Terms and Rights​

  • You must comply with all applicable third-party agreements when using Zealot. Some platforms (such as Apple) are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement and may enforce it against you.

Intellectual Property​

  • Zealot and all related intellectual property rights belong to the licensor. The licensor reserves the right to grant licenses to third parties.

Others​

  • If any provision of this Agreement is invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is not affected. Invalid provisions will be replaced by new ones that achieve the original intent.
  • Supplementary agreements, changes, and amendments must be made in writing.
